LIGHTWEIGHT INSTALLATIONS FOR A MOUNTAIN ROUTE
DUOPUU is providing technical consultancy for the executive design of the experiential and interactive installations designed by Dotdotdot for a mountain route capable of interacting with the landscape and nature of Vallecamonica – this Alpine region is a World Heritage Site (1979) and a Biosphere Reserve (2018). Lightweight timber structures, high levels of prefabrication, minimal use of concrete, and assembly-disassembly construction methods have been included in the design process to minimize the impact of the installations while respecting the natural environment.
